Portmarnock Golf Club is known as one of the world’s truly great links courses. It is on a small peninsula extending into the Irish Sea and is surrounded by water on 3 sides. Portmarnock Golf Club is located 10 miles North of Dublin city just South of Malahide on R106. The quality and location of Portmarnock have made it a superb venue for some great events over the years, the British Amateur, the Canada Cup, the Walker Cup and some 12 Irish Open Championships.
The golf course is best known for its memorable set of finishing holes that has proven a formidable test even for the most skilled golfers. Arnold Palmer has even been quoted as calling Portmarnock’s 15th hole, “the finest par-3 in the world.”

Ardglass Golf Course is an 18 hole links course on the north-eastern coast of Ireland founded in 1896 with some stunning views and unique golf holes. It is located in County Down, Northern Ireland and is situated 30 miles south of Belfast. The course creates a challenging test of golf, particularly on a windy day.
The course hugs the coastline, with the Irish Sea visible from all 18 holes and on a clear day it is possible to see across the Irish Sea to the Isle of Man. The Par 3 2nd, the Par 5 11th and the Par 3 12th require a carry across the coastline and cliffs tops of the Irish Sea and rank among the best holes in Ireland.

Royal County Down Golf Club, founded in 1889, is located to the north of the seaside town of Newcastle on the east coast of Ireland. It is 30 miles south of Belfast and 90 miles north of Dublin. The club has 36-holes; the Championship Course measuring 7,037 yards Par 71 with a standard scratch of 75 off the blue tees and the somewhat shorter Annesley Links at 4,708 yards Par-66. The Championship course is a links course that is renowned worldwide as one of the finest links tests in the world.
The first nine holes are ranked by many as the finest opening nine anywhere. The constantly undulating layout will challenge every part of your game with “tightish” fairways, many grassy-topped pot bunkers and sloping, tricky greens – every hole is a classic links test.
