Take a trip to see the largest cemetery of megalithic tombs in Ireland at Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery. Archaeologists have recorded over 60 tombs at this site with some monuments over 6,500 years old. Tombs are accessible and a restored traditional cottage houses a small exhibition about the site.
